When you lead, you activate and engage the power of influence. As a leader of teams(small, medium or large) don’t take for granted the power of influence you have on others. Influence in love, empathy and with integrity and you will see the positive results/outcomes in those you lead. Workplace research shows that employees don’t leave organizations, rather they leave managers.


Take time to reflect on your power of influence with those you lead. What does your influence indicator show, Falling short? Empower yourself with leadership books and resources. Doing great? Keep at it and pursue developing yourself even more intentionally!

In challenging and crisis times like we are in, the onus is on you as a leader to listen to your people, know that their voices matter and influence them to leave them transformed.
